IN THE

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY AND ELECTRONICS

Our field of activity

Electronic devices have become an integral part of our everyday life and are playing an increasingly important role in our lives. Of course, the distributor must ensure that the product quality is flawless in terms of electrical safety, but also electromagnetic compatibility.

We offer the necessary verification for this. This can be done for the national ÖVE mark, but also in accordance with international procedures such as ENEC, CCA and CB and for approvals according to ETS guidelines.

As part of the conformity assessment procedure, we are happy to check your product in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive (2014/35 / EU), the EMC Directive (2014/30 / EU),  the RED (2014/53 / EU) or the Motor Vehicle Directive (2007/47 / EC).

Our expertise also extends to advice and support for product developments or expert reports on e.g. electrosmog measurements, damage assessments and utility value tests, etc.

Low voltage directive

This European directive is probably one of the most important in the electronics sector.

It was approved by the European Parliament and the Council on February 26, 2014

"Harmonization of the laws of the member states on the provision of electrical equipment for use within certain voltage limits on the market"

enact.

Example standards

The guideline applies to all electrical equipment with a nominal voltage between 50 and 1000V AC and between 75 and 1500V DC, for example in the range:

Luminaires, LED modules, ballasts,
Lamp holders, ...

IEC EN 60598, IEC EN 62031, IEC EN 61347, ...

2014/54 / EU
Radio Equipment Directive

This European directive is particularly important for IoT applications. All devices that transmit or receive radio waves must meet this European directive.

It was approved by the European Parliament and the Council on April 26, 2014

"Provision of radio equipment and the repeal of Directive 1999/5 / EC"

enact.
